I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so down and bitter, but I pretty understand that.
I think nowadays most of people wants to get some recognization for their wrtiting -- some gather a huge group of friends/supporters baa-ing useless praise, or at least that's how things goes in the Italian writing comunity. Personally I prefer a well pondered and constructive criticism to that, but good critics are a hard to find and harder to get interested into your books :S
Maybe a little break would help you chill out about all this stress, gather some fresh idea and, why not, maybe get the right motivation: mine lasted five years and in that while I kept on writing, I just didn't share it untill I had the right push to do so -- if I tell you what it was, you would laugh at me -- Nevertheless, do not doubt about your wrtiting ability: you have good ideas and a nice style, with great grammar and rich language.
